Modern OB

Swan Audio presents a pack of 80 Oberheim style presets for Uhe Diva modelled on the OB-6, including a Modern OB GUI ‘skin’

This is the follow up to the first and most popular Swan Audio pack – ‘Classic OB’. In similar fashion we took the OB-6 and programmed a suite of classic sounds and then carefully matched with Diva – again producing some shockingly close results! And whilst the original synth may be limited to 6 voices – Diva has 16 – per instance! 

The soundset is stock full of the typical Swan Audio ‘classic analogue’ sound which encourage playing and musical idea creation: sparkling arps, huge basses, analogue brasses and keys, moving pads and strings…all the types of sounds that gave this classic brand its reputation.

We included tasteful usage of the effects to match the original hardware – but of course not overpowering or ruining the underlying analogue sound.

And there is no better way to show the fruits of our labours than a blind test!…FX on some sounds included from both Synths effects engines.
